Portfolio Info Sessions

Putting together a strong portfolio is one of the most important parts of your application to the National Art School. In this session NAS lecturers will offer helpful advice to guide you through your portfolio preparation.

If you are unable to attend the in-person or online info session, we encourage you to review the video above & our Portfolio Advice Guide ahead of your Interview & Portfolio Review.

BFA Info Sessions (Online) 

Join our webinar to find out what makes NAS different from all other Fine Art degrees. The BFA degree is designed to impart the skills, knowledge and creative independence required to sustain a career as an artist. Our staff will talk you through undergraduate study options, the admissions process and then offer the chance for you to ask any questions you might have, so tune in. 

Structure: A general information session (30 minutes), followed by a Q&A (30 minutes).

Postgraduate Info Sessions (In-person) 

DFA Info Session

Tuesday 30 September 2025, 6:00 – 7:00pm

Location: B11 Seminar Room, National Art School

Hosted by: Dr Yolunda Hickman (Head of Postgraduate Studies)

Join our DFA webinar to learn more about the postgraduate pathways at NAS. The session will cover a range of information including a program overview, application and admissions processes. 

There will be light refreshments provided after the session. 

Portfolio Review Event

Receive one-on-one feedback on your portfolio from a member of the NAS Academic Team

Open Day 2025

Everyone is welcome at Open Day, from those considering art as a career to anyone simply curious about what happens behind the school’s historic sandstone walls.

 

It’s a busy and active day-long program offering plenty of opportunity to see what life is like for students at NAS, with art demonstrations in the studios, and shows in our exhibition spaces.
